The Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority (CIEDA) was recognized in the 2015 SEDC Communications Competition with two regional awards. Communities across 17 states compete to be recognized for excellence in message, marketing, outreach in this annual competition.
“Our marketing message is that we are an aggressive community, we are a growing community, and it’s an exciting time to be a part of Claremore’s development,” said Brandon Irby, Marketing Manger at CIEDA.
Irby was appointed as Marketing Manager for CIEDA in July 2014. Over the past year the organization has made a concerted effort to position Claremore as prime opportunity for business location. “It’s very rewarding to have our marketing efforts recognized regionally by our peers within economic development,” he said.
CIEDA took home the Award of Excellence for the updated branding of the Claremore Regional Airport and the Award of Merit for the 2014 Annual Report. The awards were presented at the 2015 Annual SEDC Conference in Savannah, Georgia.
“We are thrilled with this recognition,” said Jeri Koehler, Executive Director of CIEDA. “Beyond the recognition we’ve received from the SEDC and our peers, the materials we have produced are generating results. We couldn’t be more pleased.”
